Dear Valued Affiliates:

Some of you may have noticed that the level of discounts on our affiliate offers this week have been smaller discount coupons than in the past. This is because we have slightly changed our pricing on both Dimensions and Inspirons for all systems on Dell.com generally resulting in a more simplified pricing structure and lower regular prices for our customers.

With these changes, the coupons that we now distribute going forward will at first seem like the discounts are less than what they use to be, however, after the new coupons are applied to the new regular price of the system, the affiliate customers generally will still receive end prices on par with the old discounts.
Looks like a 20% discount is as high as they are going to go. I missed the last $750 off by 3 days in August and now I''m screwed

edit - And re-reading this explanation, it is some of the most sterotypically canned and baseless corporate gibberish ever.

This is absolutely BS from Dell. Even with the old prices, a 35% discount coupon (or $750 off) was still cheaper and a better deal compared to their new pricing + a 20% discount. Seems like it's about $200 more expensive now on a typical Pentium D desktop system.

Yeah, I did the math on the 700m I want; it would be $1125 on a $750 machine.

Yep, I'm making out better with these new coupons LOL

I tried configuring the cheap Inspiron 1200 just for fun, and almost all the options are locked. Of course all upgrades are free, especially when you lock them down!

For some odd reason, when I try to apply those coupons, it doesn't seem to work. I have the 12% off already, but for these coupons, it tells me it doesn't meet the eligibility requirements.

I just went to my EPP site, once my system was created...then added the coupon, was a nice savings over all with that coupon saved just over $1100 for my new i9300 and accessories......you have to be on the EPP site for it to work though it will not work on the Home site (I think) and I believe it has expired...

Would have been nice to have the reported 40% EPP coupon though I would have saved a litte bit more money...Oh well cant wait forever...

New m170 30% off

Just got this coupon to work with the new M170's, for an additional 30% off. Haven't checked to see if it can be combined with anything, but who cares!

I just got an epp account. So your saying I can get the 30% off and an epp discount? How? I can't get it to work.

Newbie Quest.

Hi: Just joined the forum. Got to ask two simple questions. What does epp stand for? What is the canadian web site that one can "join" to get its dell benefits?

Hi and welcome

About your Question regarding the epp? - This topic has been chewed like a zillion times till now. Well, at least as long as I'm a member of this boards. For example ... hmmm ... Read this thread. You should be able to understand a lot more after you read that thread. And yes, the EPP is mentioned somewhere in there. If you have any further questions, please use Search function on top of this page. If even Search won't help, then by all means shoot the question. That's why we're here ... to read, ask and answer.

About your other Question ... Hmmm , I think someone else might be a bit more helpful than me. Sorry, I'm not familiar w/ Dell Canada.

I see your point but like others I have never been able to combine EPP and the normal coupon codes????
