Talk to someone in chat and got a number to call. Talk to someone in Texas and told him I wanted to order a Inspiron 9300. Give my (fake) Epp number. Got code. Now gotta build machine before the 3000 limit.

Oh Happy day.

Dont use your account from the Dell Home site! You need to go to http://www1.us.dell.com/content/segm...&s=eep&cs=6099. Dont enter a number but select the link. Click on My Account and then Create An Account. I find they change the EPP URL quite often so you may have to search for it from time to time.. Google or even the Dell Search.

The reason the 12% isn't working is likely because you created a Home account and logined in with that. I use 2 browsers to manage them myself. Mozilla to manage Dell Home and Firefox to manage Dell EPP. IE has been removed

Stipid question, but do they want your address and all that crap, or your company's? >.>
And do I need to use firefox? What is that for? Sorry for all the questions, but I really appreciate the help.

Considering ordering, but am I using all available coupons?

Hey guys, I'm highly considering purchasing an M170 from the EPP site....these are the coupons I have on it now...

10% off XPS systems -$292.70
$200 off -$200.00
12% EPP Discount -$316.12

Besides the 2% DPA, are these all of the coupons I can use? Does anyone know of anything else I could use?

Thanks

Bomix, what did you say in your email? and mazda, what ph# did you call by chance? Trying to get the coupon, but running into dead ends. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

FYI, i emailed Dell and just received the 30% off coupon. I don't know if it helped, but I gave them my customer number.

Too bad I can't use it for the XPS

I've emailed and called every number I could get my hands on, still no 30% off coupon. Hmmmmm, I wonder?

Same here. I'm bout to give up. I'm not finding anything about any discounts at all..
I don't have an EPP account, I have a home account, but how come I can't use any coupons on my home account, but then those same coupons work when I go through the EPP way??

Some coupons are good for home, some for epp. I think there is a $750 out right now for home.
Guitarpik, the customer number that you gave. was that just from a previous order. or the epp number?
Hmm.. but I don't get it... My account IS a home account.. I just went through the EPP way and clicked small business, since I work for a small business... Is that really all I have to do to get an EPP code? I figured there was a lot more to it than that... I don't wanna get busted. <.<

yeah, im really curious about that as well, how do you come about that number. Im a student and work for small business, really cornfused atm.

What is an EPP coupon?

Hi

I'm a new user, and I'm looking to purchase either a 630m or XPS m140. I notice that the only coupons I see mentioned here for the XPS are EPP coupons - what are they? How can I get them? Can they be used with a gift card?

Thanks-

Sue

An EPP coupon is a coupon that can only be used at the dell "employee purchase program" website. But EPP coupons are good because you can always get the best deals when you use the EPP site to order your computer and the coupons make it even sweeter. The only requirement is that you work for a major employer. If you dont, then select the "major corporation" option at the EPP site and type your own name in as the company name. Dell will not actually verify this fact. To find the EPP site, type "dell EPP" into google and choose the first hit.

Where's the EPP site?

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, I have a Gift Card I have to use thru Home & Home Office - can't be transferred. I don't need anything else, and I need to get a laptop.

Can't get the 630m if I can't use the giftcard, & I haven't seen any coupons for the XPSm140. That S*cks- it's the perfect machine for what I want. Freakin' Dell. :

Has anyone seen any XPS coupons that were H&HO lately?

Thanks -

Sue

Just got done with configuring my laptop. Onlly thing that prevents it from being 100% perfect is they don't allow you to get the 100Gb drive from the epp site. Damn you Dell. Maybe should wait until tommorow, they should have it fix by then. Do I hear a NOOOOOO? Anyway, the e-mails are coming in to my various acccounts. The number I called is 1-800-999-3355. It's a Dell order #. Talk to a epp sales person. Use Regent University code (US20715293) I got off the internet. He gave me the coupon code. BTW, I don't think there is a hurry to get your laptop. The last 3 times they pass these codes out in the open they never expired until the very last day, very last minute.

Maybe they will have a better deal tommorrow just like the B130(B1300). At the Business site a strip downed laptop was $599 yesterday. If you go there today and only for the next 3 days, You get a wireless, 512 MB, and 60GB upgrade all for free. So I think Dell might(slim 25% chance) give you a upgrade if you are willing to wait. For me, I am pulling the trigger by Sunday.
