I've recently been charged with finding a cheap and small notebook. I instantly thought of the Dell 700m as the best deal for the money. However when I was last looking at these things it was several months ago. At the time Dell was running stack coupons every week or so that would be 700$ off a $1400 notebook.

Looking at a few of my favorite coupon sites they don't seem to have those on file anymore.

So is dell still running those promotions? Would I be better off with another brand or can I still get a small notebook for cheap from dell?

You just have to keep searching for the best coupon deals. Even check ebay, you may have to pay $4.00 but a saving of $100.00 is just that. I just ordered a I6000 for $1900.00(2.13, 100gb, 128video, 8xcdburner, wuxga, 512mem, 2yr onsite w complete care) with coupons, final cost $1290.00 with shipping.

Im looking for an XPS M170 laptop, and the price comes up to $2659, so I'm looking for a coupon code for that. I've heard of those famous $750 off coupons...anyone know if those are Inspiron-only or if they can be applicable to XPS systems too?

There have been a couple times that the $750 off coupons have worked on the XPS. Its very rare though, and rumor has it the $750 coupons are not gonna be around for a while.

I'm buying a Dell Inspiron 600 with some ad-ons. The total price is $1,124. Right now I have a coupon for $300 on it. So the total price with that would be $824. Anyone have any better coupons for me, or is $300 the most atm?
