It doesn't work for me anymore(the 40% off coupon).
It seems to have been out for almost 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Any luck for anyone else?

Please someone tell me it's not gone already, only two days after surfacing?

It's dead as far as I can tell. There was a great deal last night... a i6000d with 521ram, 64mb X300 v-card, Pentium M 1.6(not celeron), for 621 bucks using that 40% off...plus free shipping. Its up to 680 something tonight(34% off) with no free shipping.

Okay...

It's still not letting me apply the 40% off coupon.

Once again, I think Dell's Home "deal of the week" or whatever is overriding it.

I don't want any of their crappy deals. I just want to use my 40% off coupon, doggone it.
Do you get the... that coupon has been redeemed error? I get it all the time. Its been that way since last night. They must have used up the 4000 uses that coupon code was allotted.
Well, here's the thing. I tried the $600 off coupon, but it didn't work either.

"The following coupons have been entered but require additional information or do not meet eligibility requirements. Click "View Details" link(s) for more information."

Considering this one went into effect this morning, I doubt that the issue lies with its being "used up."

I just tried the $600 off code on a non-modified mid-entry 600m at $1730 and it worked smoothly.

This model also had a 25% off instantly tag with it which brought the price sub $1499, and the coupon still worked by overtaking the 25% dell deal.
Okay, after about 10 tries the $600 coupon finally worked.

Why it didn't before, I don't know.

Still, 40% off would be a better deal. If it worked, that is.
How is it possible for it to have hit 4000 uses in less than two days when previously it took closer to 5 days?

There's no way it's been used 4000 times already.

Dell Direct Stores 8.25% off in Texas

I know there are better deals online for computers like the $750 off coupon. But if you are planning on buying a camera, screen, or plasma tv, then this would be a great time to buy. You get 8.25% off just about anything you can buy from dell. This is Texas stores only. Hope this helps someone out there. This is good August 5th through the 7th.

@gmshau: Good work! Keep us posted. I'm also interested whether the 40% off coupon really expired. Two days seems way too quick ...

On the other hand I'm questioning myself why DELL didn't extend the first 40% off coupon (i.e. the one two weeks ago) to say 8.000 or 10.000 units? Why does DELL offer these coupons only for 4000 redemptions? I mean, I don't get it. They had two almost exact deals two weeks apart? I think it would be alot more simple, if they offered one coupon for 10.000 units. So someone who doesn't have time to watch and seek for these coupons on daily basis (for example Me ), would still have time to get a good deal lets say 4th of 5th day after the 35% or 40% off coupons hits forums such as these one ... I mean a lot of hardcore IT ppl would like to get a good deal, but they can't because they don't have time to track deals such as this last one on daily basis ...

Ups, I got a bit carried away Anyway, don't mind me. I'm just pis*** I didn't get to buy i9300 for a good price in neither of those deals. Do any of you think DELL reads this kind of forums? Sure hope, me ranting about these coupons would bring another one of this XL coupons.

It might have been redeemed. There was super deal with a i6000d for 621 dollars using the 40% code. I was going to jump on that deal myself, but was too late before it ended. From what I've heard, that deal was more than you're average deal because it came packed with a unique configuration that was able to get the high-end model whilst not being forced to buy extra software and warrenties. Who knows, who cares, either way I got screwed and ended up having to pay $100 more.

Anyone know where to find coupons that work when you want to buy a Dell notebook. Can i use the coupons you have listed here or where can i get em so i can use em in Denmark ?

Coupons

Hi Everyone.

It has been mentioned that typically the 750 off 1499 coupons come out once a month and/or? more frequently during end of sales quarters. Does anyone have any idea, #1 if there will be one of these for August and #2 if so, approximately when we can expect it to be released based on past release dates.

Thnx.

You can try to track them down on one of the following sites:
www.supercoupon.com
www.techbargains.com
www.slickdeals.net
Do these sites also advertise coupons, usable also/only in Denmark, I wouldn't know. The coupons listed on the upper sites usualy (i.e. in an hour or so) also appear on this forum ... So I think this place is pretty much updated with this sort of info on regular basis

And an answer to your other question, i.e. whether you can use them in Denmark ... I wouldn't know. Try it. Maybe they'll work! I would also suggest requesting a Dell catalog. In USA Dell usualy puts coupon codes also in their catalogs.

Hope you get a good deal

What are the biggest coupons that tend to be released for Dell's LCD TVs? My friend got a sweet 27" Viewsonic LCD TV for $500 by catching a CompuUSA sale at the last minute and I'm looking to do something similar and split the cost with my roommate next year...

Just thought I'd let you guys know...
Just came across this $700 off coupon for inspiron notebooks. It expires 8/11 or first 2500 uses. Also there is a latitude coupon but only gets 250 uses. I know how those are rare. $500 off $1699. Anyways heres the website: http://www.firingsquad.com/deals/.

$750 off coupon is more common and posted in Adam's Deals and Coupons thread.
