Yeah this is true especially if you dial Dell up and a nice supervisor picks up. She/He has all the authority to cancel or modify any order.

So I said thanks (for nothing in my head), hung up and promptly redialled. Got another rep and told him what I wanted to do. He asked for the code, checked it to see if it was valid and said "sure". Easy as that.
