How do I Get Rid of This Dialog Box? (Uninstalled ProSet Wireless)

I don't use wireless, and decided to uninstall a few programs that I don't use, including Intel ProSet Wireless (from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel). I then used a registry cleaner, & thought I was good to go. Now, however, whenever I re-start Windows, I get the message box below:

This pops up while my start-up programs are loading. I know I had installed an Intel update that was posted in the 9300/XPS forum (though this box references "2915", I actually have the b/g card (2200?)). Anybody have an idea of what I need to do to get rid of this box when I re-start? One good thing about uninstalling this is that it cut out about 8 running processes.... Any help appreciated.

My suggestion is to download the update from the dell site, install it, then add remove programs to unistall it... its looking for the installable to unistall it... presumably its been deleted or lies in a folder within C:\Dell\Drivers

Try disabling the wireless controller in the device manager

I appreciate both replies, I'll try disabling via device manager first, then I'll try the option of re-installing then uninstalling. Rep points for both of you!!

Have you ever reformatted the machine?
