Where to get z70refresh? - Page 2

IBM's prices are just ridiculously expensive.

Anyways, I haven't said anything in this thread, but in response to the beginning, I have yet to hear of an Asus reseller that doesn't have great service. I myself went with DiscountLaptops, and their service has been top notch--like people who have used ISTNC, I can't recommend DiscountLaptops enough. To tell you the truth, for anyone who hasn't ordered yet, it'd be safer to just wait until it comes out; that way, you can do price comparing and what not.

You've got a good point! Via these forums, I've heard customers' responses from reseller experiences with Discount Laptops, Geared2Play, IST, ProPortable, RJ Tech, and Xmeld (and those are just the US ones), and just about all of it has been positive. Good job, resellers!

Well, I am still not sure that I am going to cancel my IBM order yet... I want to wait untill they are out. I need a laptop by August 21st.

To tell you the truth, I'd just go with the IBM then. By the time they get into the US, then make it to the resellers, and finally make it to your doorstep, you're going to be cutting it very close to your August 21st deadline. If you want, you could always wait until the end of JUly, as we'll probably get a good idea of when we'll be seeing the Z70Va once they've hit US soil...

Or if it's not available a couple weeks before you need it, get the current version of the Z70v.

That is the whole problem... my IBM is delayed for at least 8 weeks.
