update**

so yes teh fee seems to have been waived and i am very happy about that. the replacment gpu didnt work so i think that something must have happened to the mobo or something. anyways, i heard from Michael Kohen today and he said that i will recieve my laptop back tommorrow because it is shipping today.

HOPEFULLY i can be done with these problems!....although i still feel like it would be strange for me to unpack it and plug it in and find nothing wrong with it. im so used to problems now that it would really come as a surprise to receive a working laptop....ill cross my fingers & let u guys know!

external hdd's work well as backups. Relatively necessary if your aiming for a raid setup.

You seem to sound intelligent, what was so hard about that?

I confess I had to laugh upon reading this as I am quite literally staring at just over a tebibyte of storage capacity at the moment.

Unfortunately in RaiderRod's case (hence my previous reply), important data was being stored on non-redundant array with no active backup implementation whatsoever (the "I have so many files for my accounting class on that computer and I MUST get into it" seemed to indicate such, at least).

No Crucial or Corsair Memory any more

Sorry for off topic,I just wondering why Hypersonic dosen't offer Crucial or Corsair memory any more for all moblie lineups (I think this begin from today cause yesterday I saw the option for Corsair or Crucial).I saw you guys' sig and you all have Corsair or crucial memory. I am going to place an order for Fusion EX-7,what I want is Crucial or Corsair, but they only have Mushkin now. If I order one without memory, I can order seperate memory from Crucial with coupon and put them in.But the only risk is if somthing wrong during the DIY,I am afraid Hypersonic won't cover the damage

Anybody know Mushkin?Is that reliable?
Please,ratmyr!!!

Me too

I had sent them an Email about possible swap out of Mushikin for Corsair but I havent heard anything. (Sales on vacation??)

Unless Corsair discontinued that one.

I could live with the Mushkins if thats what they can only get and search for the Corsairs. Mushkins are fine but I prefer Corsairs if they were availible.

why would you guys want different brand memory on sodimm 4200? they are all 4 CAS latency.

I know. I have had both and I just prefer Corsair, its like you drive a Ford and I drive a Chevy...they both do the same thing. I like the silicon in the Corsair better thats all.

I prefer the Corsair / Crucial memory as well, but it would not make or break my purchase. However, HyperSonic will probably let you order without memory and then you could purchase the exact same Corsair memory on your own. The install is very simple for memory. The only caution is not to take the cover off of the memory panel too swiftly since there is a dedicated fan that is connected to cool the memory.
