Hypersonic

lol...hypersonic is not a good company. they are a company based on lies. when u call to find out info about your order....they give u lies....saying that things are instock. then later you catch them in their lie when they tell you that actually the items are on order and will arive sometime next week.

their tech support is halfassed. their techs to lousy jobs. my system is on RMA for the 4th time (for the EX7) 5th overall for all systems. They keep sending me screens that are worse and worse. This time the screen that I got has light streaks all over in it along with dead and lit pixels. I sent back the previous screen because of a dead pixel and what I got was the worst screen I have ever seen.

After all is said and done, once I get a system that works and has no problems, I plan to sell it on ebay and buy a Sager or maybe even a Dell. Hypersonic is the worst computer company EVER!

RaiderRod. You and your alteregos have had nothing but bad luck and your previous posts are hot/cold regarding Hypersonic. Could it be that the real issue is a "user issue". Your lasted problem was the result of you flashing the GPU and it died. In all fairness, how many time have to RMA'd "THIS MACHINE"? Then how many machines did you return because you were not satisfied with what you purchased or the fact the newer options became available after your purchase? From what I have observed, a Sager does not appear to be the "right choice" for you. Please retain focus on the thread topic and not try to turn threads into Hypersonic Bashing. Thanks.

I have to strongly disagree with your statements. True, you have yourself a track record on returns, but this is not the norm, or at least not what I have witnessed personally.

I have bought two systems from Hypersonic. A GX7 and an EX7. I have had nothing but success with my EX7. Yes, I have a minor light leakage from the screen, but this is only noticeable on black cut sequences when the screen goes dark. And, Hypersonic is ready to replace it, however, I have decided to wait until my move is over to handle this. However, no other issues have arised with my system.

The GX7 had a noisy DVD drive when I received it and when I made this known to Hypersonic, they painted and sent a new one (upgraded it from 2x to 4x as well). The only RMA I had to do with my GX7 was due to the artifacting that everyone else with a GX7 or 8790 has experienced at some point. They replaced the card, motherboard and updated the bios. Since then, the system continues to rock.

This is an experience that I am basing off from May 04 until now - roughly 15 months.

I am not sure how you seem to continue to get lemon equipment, but again, your experience seems to be more of an exception than the norm.

I also request that you modify your signature block. You don't have to support or advertise for Hypersonic, but you also don't have to bash them with every post you make by making bold comments as you do in your signature block. Keep in mind the last paragraph of the topic rules:

Same here...nothing but a good experience from HyperSonic. I have ordered an Aviator EX7 (Reflexxion Python Special Edition), Aviator MX6 (Reflexxion Fire Mist Pearl), and a SoniCube GX (Reflexxion Le Mans Sunset Metallic).

Of course, I am not disputing your personal experience...however, it definitely does not seem to be the norm.

well this current issue was the bad flash. i think the vbios flash on their site is just bad....anybody care to try it out? anyways, the system was abd before I flashed it. the screen that i recieved, WUXGA Glossy, was only done because my last screen was one of many WSXGA screens that had dead pixels. So i upgraded to this on an RMA and it came to me with light streaks in it along with dead & lit pixels. i had already planned to rma it because of this.

I currently have the LG/Philips 17" WUXGA display that was originally offered, and I believe it is still offered, specifically listed on the Fusion machine. It is flawless and has excellent contrast ration. It is the non-glare type; I actually had them swap to this display back in April because I did not like the 17" WSXGA+ glare-type display, and I wanted the higher resolution as well. The specifications on this display were excellent, and I looked them up on LG/Philips web site to confirm HyperSonic's specs which were correct with a 500:1 contrast ratio and WVA.

As far as the video flash, I have the Nvidia Quadro FX Go 1400 so I can be of no assistance to you there.

I will check out the video bios of my system and let you know, but I am sure that is the file I used back in May. I haven't had any issues with it, but looking to see what others may have had - same with those who are using the 9860/9880 since they would have had the same bios upgrade.
