I went to the ATI web site to see if they have Linux drivers for moble products and it took me to a page saying that mobile drivers are only provided by the laptop manufacturer. I am not sure if their desktop drivers would work or not.
I also went to the NVidia web site and did not see a distinction for mobile drivers vs. desktop drivers so I am assuming that they work for both.
I mention this as I don't know that AW is ever going to provide drivers for Linux so you might want to stay away from the ATI video even though it is a better gaming card.
Does anyone have experience with these drivers?
