Doesn't anyone find it odd that the Dell only has 1GB RAM?

Interesting read for those people who do not hang around these forums. Other than that I did not learn anything new out of it that was not already in the old Sager or Dell threads.

I think this is the best part

You can even change the LED color using a preinstalled software program. Dell also offers an optional $25 "personalization shield" that lets you insert any 8.5x11-inch graphic onto your laptop cover. The front of the system has easy-access multimedia buttons for basic volume and media playback control.

The Alienware Area-51m 7700 has a dark-gray laptop housing with the signature Alienware gills and the "AlienEyes" backlit alien head on the back cover.

1 paragraph vs 1 sentence hahaha

The system also features a full-sized keyboard, complete with a number pad on the right-hand side. The Dell system also has a full-sized keyboard, but it doesn't have the number pad portion. Like the Dell, the Alienware offers multimedia control options on the front panel, but unlike the Dell, the Area-51m has an additional LCD display that lets you use the system to play CDs while the system is turned off.

Read the parts I highlighted.... they're about the looks of the computer. The stuff afterwards began to talk about the features (numpad/keyboard, etc.)

The Alienware had 2GB versus the XPS 2's 1GB. Luckily, they didn't use any tests that needed more than 1GB, otherwise the XPS 2 would have suffered.

All I can say about the Alienware/Sager is...holy crap that's thick.

My Inspiron 5150 I have right now is exactly 2.0 inches thick.... it isn't too bad. How thick is the XPS2 again? 1.3 or osmething? I can't seem to picture that (it being such a big laptop and all)... can't wait to get mine and see the difference in thickness.
