I know a lot of you would tell me that this has been debated over and over...
The Tecra M2 seens comparable to the S360 http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/...7&ccid=1291021 don't much about what they mean as to a Nvidia 64mb. I was also wondering what you guys think of the Tecra M3? Anyone have one? the Tecra M3-S336 spec is comparable to the S460.. http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/...7&ccid=1291021 or the M4 http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/...7&ccid=1291021 ...the 3yr warranty is standard from hp (at least that's what website is leading me to believe)? wonder if i can get a cheap one...anyone have a review to give? hopefully there is no heat issue and long batt life

post some other alternatives (beside the ones extensively discussed before: asus w3v)
Thanks!

nVidia FX 5200 - maybe half the performance of the 9700 in the S360, if that.. For more info, check out http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/cont...s/tecra_M2.pdf

the M3 with a 6600 has got much higher performance than the s360 though....

Yeah, didn't see that. Pitty about the low resolution and big screen (and therefore big size)

Hmm, it seems that you can get the Toshiba Tecra M3 with a nvidia 6600 128mb video card and a 14.1" SXGA+ (1400x1050 res) LCD. I love the 1400x1050 res, and the video card is more powerful than the 64mb 9700 in my s360, so maybe I'll look into the M3. The M3 does weigh ~6.11lbs though

nah that's not too bad, with a warranty. I got mine for $1350 from Circuit City but then they got me with a huge warranty ($380) but that was a while ago i suppose.

do all 360 models have the true bright display , im seeing some for sale that dont specify truebright, also do all 360 models have the 9700, aside from 360 / 360/p, im guessing p only means windows professional correct?

the p in s360p is for the windows professional. I am pretty sure that the s360 all have xbrite and ati 9700..

I suppose the $1350 is before the huge $380 warranty was added in?...that's a pretty nice price...I only have a one year warranty, well it seems that not many s360 has broken down, feel pretty confident
