I got an email from paypal a few days ago saying the payment of $100 has been frozen. I just got off the phone with them. Has has no funds in the bank/credit account that is linked to the paypal and that's why paypal froze that payment.

So now I'm back to square one. He owes me $242.

When the **** is this gonna end????

He also told me a few days ago that he sent me $142 and my windows booklet via first class and that I should get it no later than yesterday.

Think I got it?

Its times like these I wish I was a mafioso. I would have had him hanging by the feet from the Sears Tower faster than you can say "I love the Sopranos!!"

I feel bad for you, but I honestly wasn't expecting you to get any money back. I hope I'm proved wrong in the end. Have you tried calling up his local precinct? Call 'em up, explain the situation, and see what they recommend you do.

Nothing to lose at this point.

I second that. police need to be called

Dude the police aren't going to do a thing. Be realistic.

You won't know that for sure until you call. Maybe there have been a lot of people calling lately in your situation. Whereas normally they wouldn't do anything, maybe your call will be the one that has the local sheriff driving over to said persons home and having a "little talk" with him about the number of calls the local precinct been getting because of his "questionable" bartering habits.

You never know. I was rear-ended once at a turn signal. Hit and run. Was a teenager who got scared and ran. I am convinced that she was drunk too at the time.

When I went home my girlfriend convinced me to call the police and report it. I didn't see the point because I didn't get car plates or even the make. The only thing I knew for sure was the color, dark red or burgundy'ish.

I finally call just to end the yapping, and what do you know ?

Someone had called in the lisence plate of the teener as she sped off.

You never know, and it doesn't hurt to make the call. Maybe with your call they won't do anything but it'll be precedence for somone else if he pulls this shit again and someone else also calls to see if there s anything that can be done.

First off, I know first hand, the police aren't going to do a thing. They will apologize and say that there is nothing that they can do (I've been through something like this before). Your best bet is trollhunters.

Oh and silver...I added to your rep in a positive way

No. I don't know what the problem is. I've emailed every trollhunter on their website.

Maybe theyre on trollhunting trip ?

Seriously, I don't know why they haven't responded. I'll try e-mailing them again.

My bad for the bad grammer. Was in a rush.

It's bascially how you put it. In defense of his father, this mofo is a grown ass man with his own kids.

I totally agree. If the father bails him out for his scamming activity, the sob will continue to scam others and let his father deal with problems. If I was the father, I would feel bad for the people whom my son scam but I would not bail him out from sticky situations that he put himself in. My 2 cents.

yea but you know what? I'm more interested in getting my money back than teaching him a lesson. I don't give a shit. I just want my money. It'd be nice if his father paid.

Ha. I almost forgot to fill you guys in on his latest lie: He told me about a week ago that his mother mailed out my Windows XP booklet and $142 via first class. Seriously this guy must be the only asshole on this planet whos had mail 'lost' twice in 2 consecutive shipments.

Also told me he mailed my laptop with $30 money order inside. yea right. Well you get the point.

This is the worst possible time for me to deal with this shit too. I'm moving across states to grad school in about 2 weeks and I have rent, furniture, and moving trucks on my mind and now this too.

You put up with way too much shit. First person who scams me.... I'll jump in my BMW and drive to wherever the **** they are and pay them a visit. At least you got the lappy back.

Don't jump the gun with the 2 cosecutive lost shipments, happened to my friend and he is one of the best traders ever...
