Hmmm...

Wow, thanks everyone for all the great comments/responses/ideas, etc, etc. Yeah, it's really a close choice for me, between the 700m and the 6000d. I'm still trying to think if that screen will indeed prove to be too small for me. Also, w/ either notebook, I'll still at least be able to run emulators and roms right? Or wrong (ie Sega Genesis, and SNES)? And, is V6 3.6L 2002 FORD Mustang, really a piece of crap (lol, this is drifting a bit from the topic)? Thanks again everyone! Keep the good support coming please.

That kind of emulation relies mainly on the processor power and the 1.6 pentium m is a monster at that so you will be perfectly fine. As to the mustange those are fairly reliable depending on the amount of miles, thats a completly differnt beast then the 5.0 the other guy mentioned.

Okay, thanks for the info. Yeah, that 5.0 engine's a monster. I think the V6 'ill suffice for now. The only disappointing thing is: My parents won't let me get a standard; it has to be a freakin' automatic! It'll have no more than 50,000 miles on it, if (and I will) I am to purchase a used one.

The only emulators that need some video power are the PSOne and N64... thats it for now... all consoles after that particular generation are mainly 3d based and will require video power to operate well (If and when current-gen emulators are released =P)

Sorry, I take that back, it only requires hardware acceleration when using improvement options.
