Not really the 9700 looks faster.. 3dmark05 is more based on the gpu than the 03 version.

thanks for the links.. it seems that these notebooks have 3 color variations.. white, silver and white, and silver and black..

The difference is negligable, but the GeForce Go 6400 has Shader Model 3.0 support and PureVideo. And Linux drivers that aren't crap.

I'd say that those features negate the ~5% performance difference.
