If I get a 6000d from the dell outlet...

and it comes with a Dothan... would I be able to pin-mod it? If so, I'll go with that.

Also, does anyone have a good amount of gaming experience with the 6000d? I am trying to find out how well it plays BF2, UT2004, and Far Cry... does the 128MB x300 hold a light to a desktop 9800Pro? I can play all those games on High settings (except BF2... just a couple things turned to Medium). Sorry, but I am not too familiar with both ATi's Mobility chips and their "X" series.

I am thinking of doing so... but I have a 6000d as a backup plan if I can't gather the $1500 I need before the beginning of the semester.
