HP zv6000 or Ferarri 3400 or amilo 1425

Going to buy an laptop. The lap that Im most intrested in is the hp zv6061 but Im concerned about the 200m GPU. I want to be able to play Wow without lag and so on!

For the swedish money Im going to spend I can afford this three laptops:
The hp computer is much cheaper so I can take som of the money and upgrade it. The other two I cannot upgrade!

zv6000:
Amd64 3500+
1024 PC3200 (Not standard, going to upgrade)
60Gb 7200RPM
radeon 200m 128MB (???)

Ferarri 3400:
Amd64 3000+
512 PC2700
80gb 4200rpm
Radeon 9700 128Mb

Amilo 1425:
Pentium M 1.8Ghz
1024 Pc2700
80gb 4200rpm
Radeon 9700 128Mb


Wich is the best computer for web/multimedia and some gaming in WOW and so on..

I think the notebooks with the 9700 are better for gaming. Personally I like the P-M. It runs cool.

Okay, is the Radeon x700 64Mb better then radeon 200m 128mb????? better then radeon 9700 128mb?

What about gaming with this computer:
Intel PenM730
512Ram
radeon x700 64Mb
60gb

From what I know, the RAM size doesn't mater too much any more, but the GPU chip instead is what matters most. The X700 is better than the integrated 200m, from what I know.

I don't understand why people consider HP zv6000 or Compaq r4000 when they are concerned about gfx as there are notebooks like Acer TM 4402wlmi with X700, Turion 64, 100GB 5400rpm HD, DVDRWDual Layer DVD-RAM Slot Loaded, Win XP Pro, 6-in-1 reader for ~$1200. Or the Gateway 7510gx A64 2.4GHz, X600 128MB (256MB with hypermem), 1GB RAM, 100GB HD, DVDRWDual Layer $1249. Configure a HP/Compaq like that and it will turn out to be more expensive and way less performance!

The X700 is far more capable than the XPRESS 200M IGP. That last one you mentioned (P-M 730, 512MB RAM, Radeon X700) is the most capable in terms of gaming out of all the laptops you listed.

Remember ramificatio, not everyone lives in the United States/North America. This guy is in Sweden (well assuming from the Swedish money ) and may not have the choices we take for granted here.

Forget about 200M it is much slower than radeon 9700 and won't run WoW smoothly.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ is roughly as fast as P-M 1.8, but it generates more heat.

Btw I've seen many x700 notebooks from Acer&FS for around 1000-1100 Euros.

P-M 1.8GHz
1024DDR
Radeon 9700
80GB
15.4" Wide


It runs WOW without any lagg in nice graphicresolution. Im very happy with my new lappy
