How to ID AMD core?

I recently aquired the Asus a8v deluxe motherboard and an AMD 64 3200+. After a LOT of struggle getting the freaking thing to recognize my SATA drive, I've finally got it up and running. However, I bought the 3200+ chip only, no box, so I want to verify which core it is (guy said it was the Venice core but I want to double check). I've done a bit of searching and tried dl'ing cpu-z off pcworld but when I ran it it BSOD'd my system. Any idea if I can tell from the numbers/image on the top of the chip?

Hmm...the version of cpu-z I downloaded from pcworld must have been old or corrupted. Tried it from a different site and learned te 3200+ has the Winchester core. Argghhh! Back to the store I suppose...the PSU that came with the case I bought didn't fit the motherboard he sold me with it anyway.
