LCD Cleaning Tool on a satin finish?

My lcd has some blur marks and overall finger marks on the screen. I made the mistake of lightly dabbing it with my finger and trying to smooth out the blurs, making it a little worse. I knew that I was probably going to, but hey, first laptop..gotta try.

With these marks, how can I get rid of them? Is there any products that a local office max/depot or Compusa/bestbuy might have? No internet products please, I want to get rid of them asap!

Thanks

Office Depot has a cleaner specifically for LCDs, I've used it for years without difficulty but you *must* get a microfiber cloth to prevent tiny scratches that using paper or cloth can cause.

I recieved my laptop just two hours ago and i couldn't help myself but to touch the screen a little with my fingers and of course you see every finger print on it. I took a little cloth used for cleaning CD's and used that. But tomorrow i'm gonna go hunting for these cleaning cloths and products.

BTW, the 700m comes with a cleaning kit, the 9300 doesn't? (heehee)

Office Depot/Max has their own micro-fibers I assume..with that said, should I very lightly damp the cloth with like a droplet of water, and clean it?

I mean I licked my finger to clean it, and it got a little worse..would these clean those off the screen or do I have to deal with it now?

My XPS2 came with a cleaning cloth package. I'd be surprised if the 9300 didn't.

When you buy something for the screen, make sure you get a special cloth so you dont scratch your screen and also, before you actually wash the screen with whateven, use one of those air things that spray air and take the dust off, it also prevents from scratches and you can also wash your keyboard with it

the best i've found for large plasma displays and every other type of display is KlearScreen. Samples of their travel packs came with my XPS.

From their web site "Klear Screen is the only formula used, sold, or recommended by leading manufacturers such as Apple, Dell, Sony Vaio, HP/Compaq, Fujitsu, IBM, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, and ViewSonic."

The Large Micro-Fiber is great for cleaning and the Large Micro-Chamois removes everything. One thing you might want to know is that unlike CD's and DVD's, you should never rub in circles. You should only move it horizontally and vertically.

If you buy the large sizes, it's really inexpensive.
