Hey guys, i a noob to the usage of hibernating and stand-by, can you someone help understand all of the advantages and disadvantages of each and their proper uses for maximum notebook pleasure.....lol.
well on my unit it seems to messed up but you use Hibernate if you want to quickboot your system, but will have it off longer than a day or if your battery is low. Computer stores everything on harddrive.
You use standby if you want a quicker turn-on. But it stores everything in RAM so the computer is "on" and will drain batteries faster.
