I found a few drivers on Sagers site (Video, Audio, Card reader, Modem) and am happy that I'll be able to get these devices working.

I'm still looking for and would appreciate help finding drivers for the following devices:

- Atheros based Gigabyte WiFi card
- Webcam
- TV Tuner
- Alps Touchpad

Thanks!

For the web cam and TV tuner you are out of luck. Nothing yet. You'll have to dual boot if you want that functionality till drivers are released.

If the Sager driver for your wireless didn't work, try Ralink's for x64. Ralink x64 That's what I'm using for my N4750.

For the Alps touchpad, I'm using what x64 supplied and have no complaints. I did download but haven't tried the Alps touchpad driver for x64 from the 9880 page on Sager's site. Good luck!

WFO : Thanks for the heads up on the Alps driver. I'll go over to Sagers site and grab it now as, for some reason, x64 saw the touchpad as a PS/2 mouse rather than a touchpad... I miss the scroll band down the side!

*edit* The sager specs for the 9880 state that it uses a Synaptics touchpad. Drivers prolly aren't gonna work with the D470K series which uses an Alps...

I'm fortunate in that I had a spare Broadcom mini-PCI card and x64 has the drivers built in for the Broadcom radio but I'll grab Ralink as well and try it out.

The webcam and the TV Tuner aren't deal breakers for me and it's too late to dual boot - I've already done the clean install of x64

My thanks again for the pointers to the files.

Ronin, The Synaptic driver installed and seems to be working fine. I had to increase the speed of the pointer right away. I haven't had a chance to test all the options. Give me a couple days. I say go for it. You can always roll back to the Windows driver. The system tray icon is just like the Alps.
