I Can't decide.. 1.6 or 1.86 processor?

As it says in topic I can't really decide if I want 1.6 or 1.86Ghz processor.. The difference in price is ~ $100. I have seen many with the 1.6Ghz Processor that bench high and can play all games ect. Does someone know how big the differens is between those? Don't want to waste money for nothing... Many Thanks! *sorry bad english*

Not much difference. I opted to get the 1.86 just because in my opinion the upgrade is worth it (the DVD burning process will be faster) and other things that involve decryption and encryption. Most people here will tell you to get the 1.6 and the either pinmod or upgrade later. Basically, if you have the extra money, why not get it. If that $100 dollars will bring you from 256 or 512 ram up to over a gig then use it there.

The faster processor will help with Video Encoding and Audio Encoding. My 1.86 GHz ownes the P4 2.66 GH in the desktop

Hey! Good advice but I live in Sweden and the shipping cost almost more then the processor . No I don't like to do a pinmod even if it would be cheaper and get a good boost
Think I save some more and go on the safe side with a 1.86Ghz..
Thx all!

Don't forget gaming, too. It WILL have an impact on framerates, albeit probably slightly less in % than the difference in GHz would suggest.
