I’m in the process of buying one myself, after a lot of research and comparison. Circuit City aka The Source has it for $999.00 CAD including a Canon printer, web cam and Word Perfect. Intel Celeron M370-1.5GHz, 512MB memory,60GB(5400RPM) HD, DVD+/- Dual, 14WXGA. Wi-Fi, I have heard and read that there is a Static Problem with Toshibas. I guess the casing is too tight and it is causing a ‘’short’’ which could affect your computer components i.e. hard drive, video card etc. Has anyone experienced any of these? Especially the ones with Intel P4. I decided against the Acer Aspire AS5002WLMi, because it looks to plasticy-cheap and the screen is too shiny. No Video out either. Good deal though for the AMD Turion 64 bit processor. Your input and comments are appreciated. thanks |
that were released early this year or before. The issue has been addressed by toshiba so that all of these laptops are being fixed for free to the user.
