Any rechargable bluetooth mouse out there?

Thread Starter
The MX 1000 laser mouse can be recharged. I was wondering if there is a bluetooth version that is rechargable.

MX900

unless you mean a bluetooth version of the mx1000 specifically. The mx1000 is the only mouse currently with the laser technology.

The bluetooth optical mini mouse that's included with the Acer Ferrari 4000 series is also rechargable, but you can't buy it seperately unfortunately.

I own an MX900 and it is AMAZING. Good size, weight, and feel. The battery on the mouse will last at least two days (sorry, but this is the longest I have gone without recharging it). If your laptop has built-in bluetooth, then you can use this mouth without having to plug in the USB dongle. The Setpoint software that comes with it is great and makes the mouse that much more useful. Its a bit tricky to get it to install the software using your built-in bluetooth instead of having the dongle plugged in, but once its done, things are great. My only complaint is that there are no drivers for Windows x64 yet .

I second that, i love my mx900. I never installed the software that comes with it though, people were saying it could have some conflict with the bluetooth card? i just have my internal bluetooth card and it recognizes it, only one button on the mouse that does not work, can't remeber what it does, but i would have to install the mx900 software to make it work, but it works fine the way it is now.

If you are using XP, then there arent any conflicts with the internal bluetooth. Its just a little tricky to get the software to install right using your internal bluetooth instead of the dongle.

Amd64lover,

Do you have the matching keyboard as well? When I had the Setpoint software installed with my internal Bluetooth I always got a connection screen on bootup searching for the Bluetooth keyboard which I don't have. I tried everything but I couldn't get it to go away. Did you have this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a file you can edit that will remove that annoying screen, but i cant remember which one it is. I did find this though and it may help you... http://forums.logitechio.com/pe/acti...ostID=10108372 ... I would try it myself, but I dont currently have the SetPoint software installed. Let me know how it works.

I use the Anycom.com Mini BT mouse, it comes with a USB cord that will charge the mouse if the battery died.

I had found those registry keys and changed them before and it didn't do any good. Maybe I'll have to try it again. Thanks for the help.
