Do you mean a memory manufacturer or a company that will actually install it. Any brand name manufacturer is fine... I stick with Kingston and Crucial. As far as installing it, take it to a local computer shop... not a big corp. like Circuit City and Best Buy. Or save yourself the money and do it yourself, it is not difficult.

If you need to know what kind of memory you need, go to www.crucial.com.

I am getting pissed off! I was just going to order 512mb of ram from dell and intead of paying dell another 150 to updrade to 1 gb i was going to buy my own memory. But, when i select the 512mb of memory is says 2 DIMMS which means im going to get
256mb(x2). Jesus Dell, why can't you make life easier for us by letting purchase 1 stick of 512mb... Customize a notebook and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Then get 256 MB from dell, and buy a 1 GB stick.
