Not everyone is computer savvy so they probably do catch those people that don't know that they can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Acually that's a hell of alot cheaper. When I bought my 9300, 2GB was $700+; I'm glad I got my transcend from newegg

I hear ya' man. One of my friends helped this one girl in buying a laptop (she got a 600m). He had her pay $900 for 1 GB memory. I was ready to slap him in the face for just throwing money away like that.

Yeah, it was at $750 for an upgrade from 512 MB to 2 GB for the XPS 2 when I bought it. Needless to say I got my own.

no, I play on my xbox and desktop. But, playing on those is pretty good.

FYI tons of people on the boards are playing CS on their lappys and get great performance.

you think thats bad, here in ireland Dell is charging about USD $1550 (EURO €1306) for 2GB of RAM in an Inspiron XPS 2.
