m45 s355 screen better than m45 265?

every store i've been to, the m45 s355 screen has looked better than the m45 265, mainly the backlight quality on the lcd, arent these supposed to be the same computer basically? or maybe i was looking at a display model

guess nobody knows, i've come to the conclusion that the screen is specialty made to be displayed and not purchased, false advertising or not i dont know, but the viewing angle is a lot better on the display model. I've ordered a m40 we'll see how it goes.

they are the same with all lcd's it is luck of the draw... some are better than others even within the same line. theyy are the same screen in both computers, a part of it is that it is a display model. not that it was made especially for display but because it would be run significantly more than the average person would run it... if the lower screen quality one was alot older and had been run every day for a very long time then that could account for the difference.

all manufacturers source LCD from various vendors...this changes within models, within Partnumbers, within Series....

When a company advertising specifications on the LCD type, they always reference the LOWEST SPECIFICATIONS between the various supply vendors of LCD Panels.

so...this means that you are lucky if you recieve one of the "higher spec'd" models.
