Right now I have a Dell Latitude C610 with an ATI Mobility M6, and I can NOT find a way for 3D rendering to work..
My question is, for anyone who has installed Slackware onto a Dell 700m or any other laptop with Intel Extreme Graphics 2, did Slackware automatically enable 3D acceleration or did you have to configure it yourself? I'm just wondering because I was planning on installing it onto this laptop, but if it doesn't work, I'd rather switch to a different distro than trying again, which really makes me sad because I do love Slackware.
If you don't have Slackware but you know of a distro that did work out of the box with 3D acceleration, please let me know. I know Mandrake works wonderfully out of the box. Thanks!
