Should i get the external creative sound blaster or mod my comp for an internal one? I have a 9300 by the way

What do you plan on using it for? I would just get the external. Great headphone sounds in game, surround sound is good too, but just using the laptop speakers you wont notice anything. I dont know how you would mod your 9300 though for internal, good luck.

I have the Audigy 2zs Notebook in my 9300 and it works great. Admitidly I am not Audiophile, but it sounds good to me on movies, music, and games, and has full functionality of any other Audigy.

do you ever find the card annoying because its on the mouse side of the laptop? or is it small enough that it doesn't affect you at all. I don't wanna get fragged in counterstrike because i keep hitting the sound card..hehe

This is a good point because with the connector and cables coming out of that side it can be annoying. Too bad the slot isn't on the other side... It's only a small annoyance though, I love having the surround sound!
