Alright, I'm about done with installing the necessary programs.
First impression: It exceeded my expectations. Before I chose the z70v, I looked at the pictures of the laptop, and those pictures really make the laptop look sleek! For me, there's a tendency that the products I buy look way better than the actual product. For the z70v, it looks exactly like those pictures and might I say, even better. You just have to see in real life to appreciate the asthetics of it (I previously owned a Thinpad R series so this was a big jump in looks).
First thing I did was partition my hard drive, then installed Windows XP. Then it showed the loading page (with the blue bar running across) and I realized there's light leakage on the bottom of the screen. That's about the only thing I see that is flawed with my z70v so far.
EDIT: Just played Guild Wars at the highest settings possible; it indeed ran smoothlessly on native resolution. I've been playing it on my desktop with the ti4200 graphics card and it's just a significant improvement.
Interesting facts:
Laptop used up 55.1MB of RAM after a fresh install of Windows XP.
In the instructions manual, it says don't put the 'lap'top on my lap because it will block the air vents and cause overheating and injury me.
