Check out the mini review for yourself. You can also post questions to Matt on those forums. He can probably run specific tests for you if you have specific questions in mind...

Enjoy.

So if you can wait for the review, it might give you a better idea if its something that might interest you. I think from the choices you posted, thats the best one.

Its relatively cheap, light, according to Matt's mini review on notebook discussions it is whisper quiet, and its benchmarks are on par with an X600 card.

Plus under 5 pounds with battery and DVD burner installed.

Anyway, if you can wait, I'll have the review up as soon as I recieve it.
Awesome. I'm looking forward to your review of what this little bad boy can do.

Acer Travelmate 3210, I posted this morning but it seems to have not taken

14.1" wide screen
Pentium M
4.5 lbs
DVD burner
X700 Mobility

I am looking at that laptop. Or the Heavier but very nicely priced TM 4400 series with Turion, 15.4" and X700.

Now the 3210 sounds like an awesome laptop. Any news on when it's coming out or where I can buy one? Does it have a glossy screen? Any more info?

Compaq is the name of the company that made the laptop whose battery actually blew up and destroyed half the rest of the laptop. I can't find the post here that had teh pictures but it was cool.

I don't know, I just have a thing with Sony. They used to make good products but they just don't seem that good to me anymore. *shrug*

Oh well, still undecided on what I want. Well I really want that Acer but who knows when the US will get it. I did find a German computer shop that'll sell me one but it came to $1900 after shipping and a couple of mods (US keyboard for starters).
