ATI 9700 video Card Faulty Fan

Hi,

I currently have a 51M Laptop with a 9700 Video card that has a faulty fan. The problem with the fan is it sounds like either the bearings have gone of part of the magnetic strip has gone therefore a continual rattling is heard.

Alienwares answer is to send the laptop back, which is ridiculous, if they just send me 1 of the small plastic fans, I can replace it. I have taken the video card out and the fan which is very slimline and taken the info off the back.

I am therefore trying to find a manufactuer in the UK to replace this.

The fan is a SUNON magnetic Levitation System: Serial GC054007VH-8A
V1.B545,DC5V,0.4W

Does anyone know where I can get one of these fans from at all?

I would rather not send the whole laptop back just for a small fan that is easily replaceable, as it is useable at the moment, but noisy.

Many Thanks again.

Won't they just send you a new video module, is it still under warranty?
