Same problem as you. But just downgrade or upgrade your drivers...when i upgraded them Far Cry was fine and running smoothly.

Nah, the patch fixed it fine. I'm not sure what it was, but after patching and tweaking it, this game looks friggin awesome. Some of the best graphics I've ever seen.

Just to let ya'll know as well, this is my first PC game, I've played xbox only moderately up until now.

What are your settigs for Far Cry on your 9300?

And if you can see your FPS form Fraps etc what is your average with these settings?

I am playing around with settings and it would be interesting to see a comparison
