Video Card (for i9300)

Kind of a stupid question:
I can't decide between the ATI Mobilty Radeon X300 (128) or the Nvidia go 6800(256). I am mainly watch DVD's on it, but also a few games, mainly strategy games like Age of Empires, Empire Earth II, etc. I'm not going to have games like Doom III or Half Life II. And plus the Nvidia Go 6800 is only $100 more.
-Thanks.

You are going to want the 6800.

Get the 6800go as stated in the above post. You wont regret it. The lacking performance of the card in my last laptop was the reason I upgraded to the 9300.

Yeah, but what about battery life?

You will get better battery life with the X300. I don't know by how much. I have not had that card to test. I also rarely run on battery.

Apparently battery life is anything up to an hour longer with x300 as opposed to 6800go. But for $100, the power difference is well worth it, the 6800Go blows it out of the water.

the 6800 GO downclocks to like 110 mhz if you're just typing and stuff, so your battery shouldn't take too much of a hit for having the 6800 in it. The extra power is amazing though. You won't regret it.
