Rebates

Thread Starter
While looking around Apple.com, I found two rebates that I could use: the $100 off a printer rebate, and the free iPod mini.

Do you know that if/when I purchase a PowerBook, can I use both rebates, or is there only one available UPC?

Thanks

I've been told both ...

Hi,

I called Apple and they said I could get both rebates with an ibook -- just include a copy of the UPC symbol with the second rebate. (The printer rebate form says the same thing, in the small print.) I understand the rebates are processed at the same facility.

While we're on the topic ... Anyone know how reliable and quick Apple is with those rebate checks? (Now I'll be waiting on nearly $300 in reimbursements!)

I'm not from the US, but I'm curious: what sort of rebates are these? They don't sound like they are the current educational special offers....

In the US education store, it's $100 off a printer and a full rebate on an ipod mini ($179) when purchasing a new computer. Not a bad deal, considering I need a new printer and can sell the ipod (I hope!)

I see. For us Canadian education customers (university/college-level only, I think), we just get the $225CDN rebate for an iPod mini 4GB or higher. And $40 off .Mac
