I heard Seagate was going to launch a 160 gig hdd coming out first quarter next year...is there any truth to that because if there is then I believe some people like me could hold out till then. I am running a 60 gig 7200 rpm hdd right now and I love its performance.

So how is it? I wish there were some benchmark comparisons between the seagate and the hitachi. some people might have 60gb 7200 and want to upgrade

I can't find the Seagate one in stock in the UK either, it's pricey but I think I would go for it.
why do you prefer Hitachi over Seagate? what's the advantage?
