If I go with the dv1000 series, I will probably just order a 256mb chip and purchase a 1gb chip from newegg or the likes. My question is, what speed is currently in these machines and how fast can I go? Ive heard some notebooks are limited to pc2700 and whatnot, is this true with the dv1000?
