8887 Owners: I have a question for you...

I have an 8887 that has died. I'm wondering if one of you could be so kind as to take your battery out and turn your machine on. I would like to know if the 8887s will run without a battery. My thinking is that my problem might be related to my battery not transferring the power from the power block to the computer from the wall outlet. I would rather buy a new battery than pay all the shipping and labor to send it back to Sager. Thanks!

Any laptop should work without it's battery in aslong as your AC power is plugged in.
