XP Pro x64-bit on a 9300?

Thread Starter
I can get my hands on an XP Pro 64-bit CD and was wondering if it could be installed on a 9300? Is there any benefit? Thanks

64=64 bit. The Pentium M does not have 64bit ext.

So I am guessing it installed fine? I would have though that since it's a laptop, there would likely be NO drivers available for some of the more proprietary parts in the system.

its not in the xps, its in an earlier e-machines 5310 I still have. Runs great though but still needs some work IMO.
