I need a new laptop for wardriving, going to be running Suse on it. I want a good monitor. My budget is a little over 1000. Im torn between a Dell 700m, Dell 600m, Dell latitude D510, and HP nx6110. If anyone has one of these laptops will you show me some detailed pics, and post a small review of it. I hate making these decisions, because im afraid ill regret it later or something. Oh, im gonna need somethin with a long battery life.

Well, from the little I do know about wardriving I'd choose the 700m. 4-5 hours of battery life with wifi going (extended battery) and small. I've seen a lot of pictures of people rigging it up mounted in their car for GPS stuff, though I'd imagine in your case a passenger would be holding and using it. I wouldn't get a 15.4" though, because even though it would fit I think it'd be awkward and uncomfortable to use in a carseat.
PS: If you get the Dell and think you might run through the first battery on the road and still need more juice get the smaller cell battery as your primary and the larger battery as the extra. It's only $20ish more expensive than just getting the larger battery (with the 700m at least).
