Hmmm you are comparing x600 on the Asus vs x700 on Acer? Not a completely fair comparison.
Asus have been known to underclock and undervoltage most of their video card. They've done this time and time again.
I would rather hold back on the speculation on how the x700 will perform on the Z70va until I see the actual stat.
Again, I can not repeat this enough. OEM video chipset are left to the notebook manufacturers to implement. What memory they use, what clock they set it as, and what board they use it on make a large differences between actual speed.
Perfect example is the Acer 8100 series vs Acer Ferrari. Both uses x700, but the Acer Ferrari 4000 perform better. If they are both x700 and supposed to be equal, why the number differences.
So when comparing between graphic card, it is hard to tell against something that is not yet released. All speculation.
Who knows, knock on wood, but Asus could underclock the x700 to perform similar to the GO 6600 nvidia card.
