I'll have a full spec list in my review, but the CPU is the AMD Athlon X2 4800+ Dual-Core processor, and the video cards are dual nVidia 7800 GTX cards in SLi. Those are backed up with 2GB of RAM.

i r got teh 4400 with 78s and 2gb mem, i did want the 4800 but the thought of £500 more for a 4800 when the 4400 can oc to that with no problem kinda made my mind up, even tho i will never oc this thing for at least a year, I will tell you one thing tho, i opened every program on my pc, when it was working mind you, media player outlook intraweb, etc etc virus scanner, defragmenter, in the end i had over 30 windows open and halflife 2 and i cud still game smoothly, thing wudnt slow down, i was stunned, then a day later it stopped working, I never seen performance like that on a pc before. So i guess you will be blown away like i was but i got sucked back 24hrs later

Maybe overtaxing your computer caused it to explode...Just kidding, haha. I do look forward to letting my computer run things over like a tank, though. It's still in Memphis as of right this moment, so I expect it to be picked up around 7 this evening and being shipped out for delivery tomorrow. I guess I can begin writing of the basic outline of the review to pass the time, and then I can go to sleep early tonight so tomorrow can arrive faster.

God willing, everything will be alright on arrival.

sleep ? you think you will be able to ? mine may arrive tomorrow aswell and i know for sure if i do try and sleep its gonna be a restless one.....

That's true, sadly enough. However, I found out that Ali is playing tonight at 8 o'clock PM here on TNT, and I have always wanted to see Will Smith's performance portraying The Greatest, so that should entertain me for a few hours until I get to a more sane bedtime. Then, I just have to march around all day tomorrow as I contemplate the best angle to capture the glory and grace of the FedEx driver as he presents me with the beast that is forevermore known as The Juice.

My best wishes go out to your delivery in hopes that all your issues have been sorted out.

It seems like mine is coming on Monday as well, as it is well beyond delivery time for a Saturday. Oh well...I can wait two more days.

Doublecheck with FedEx - not sure if their ground service makes deliveries on Mondays.

So that's why the estimated date is Tuesday the 9th...I was wondering why they would need that much time from Memphis to here. I vaguely remember looking up delivery schedule earlier today, and I saw Tuesday-Saturday, but it didn't register in my mind. I guess Tuesday it is.

*sighs*

Don't you hate it when you build yourself up for something, and then you don't get it when you expect it? At least I have Monday Night RAW to occupy me Monday night, but until then, I better get some plans together soon, or I'll be stark raving mad by the time the ALX gets here. I didn't ever believe that my patience could be stretched so thin, but it seems that I'm a weaker man than I previously thought I was. In the bigger picture, the computer is just something else to occupy my mind off of more important things for a short time, so as long as I keep myself busy, I should be fine.

EDIT: I posted this out of reaction, but I went back to check the delivery days on the FedEx site, and it states that Express Saver items are delivered Mondays as well, and that's what my computer and accessories are listed as in both the tracking number e-mail an dthe actual tracking information page, so Monday is the day if there are no snags, but Tuesday is the latest. I've had to deal with a few delays along the way, so this will be fine.

Ahh, the Phase Game - so many levels, so much torture! And the FedEx guys wonder why they're attacked when they arrive with the black box.

A brown box?! I thought they all came in black boxes!
Oh well, it's what's inside that counts!

I don't care if mine comes in an oversized Happy Meal box; I just know this may be the last night of the infernal Phase Game, and I am more than joyous.

i r got mine as well amin, only problem i have is that when i got it and after they said they benchmarked it again, the bios didnt support my cpu, it was only showing 1 cpu instead of 2 ? I would of love to of seen there benchmarks for it, so i had to do a bios flash and every thing lookin ok so far, fingers crossed, but i did come across 1 slight problem if you could call it that. In my bios is a lan cable test, where it tests to see if teh cat5 or lan cable is borked, well it fails the test all the tme, so i tried my still boxed other new router cable, still fails, I even went and bought another cat5 cable, It still fails, so i dunno if its a problem or just a quirk, but when i flashed my bios, the graph it shows you of the sectors being written to the bios, 2 sectors were not written to, they remained blue, it didnt fail, as red is fail, blue = not written to, so i dunno what exactly that means, if any of you lot with asus a8n sli deluxe board knows anything about it maybe you can explain. but so far so good and it does seem a hell of a lot more stable than the last pc i got from them, so heres hopin it stays that way

It's finally here, and so far, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I still have a long way to go in terms of customization, stylization, installation, and optimization, but I should have a full fledged review with pictures by the end of the week, based on everyday usage and whatnot. The hard grinding of intensive work won't start til a month or two from now.
