Logitech V500 Wireless Notebook Mouse?

Thread Starter
I just ordered this in celebration of the final countdown till I get my laptop and was just curious if anyone has used it or is using this fine looking piece of Logitech machinery? All the dell mice for notebooks blew as well did most of their accessories and carrying cases. That's why I also went with an Ultimate Direction - Transit bag from ebags.com. But anyway what's the feelings on this mouse? I've been using a mx700 for the past 4 years or so!

Logitech does rock, almost every accessory I have including my 5.1 speakers are Logitech, with the exception of my Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard (the one with the gap in the middle). I even bought the Logitech USB stand alone mic the other day, and the thing did even need drivers. I will never stray from Logitech.

Depends on what state you're in. I had to pay 180.00 dollars tax, I'm in California.

Just thought I'd add a few pics.

$69 retail, holy cow! That's more than my Razer Diamondback Plasma! Amazon has the V500 for $52 which still seems pricey. I'd get one if it was in the $30 range.

Great Success!

The mouse just came in the mail to my dorm building today, I ripped it out and plugged it into a cluster mates laptop. Even with default windows drivers it was one damn sensitive mouse, and the overall first impressions are top notch. My laptop comes in two days then I will give a more indepth look, if I can pry myself away from it's sexiness.

Ive been using the v500 for about 3 months now... all I can say is AWESOME mouse!!! I have no gripes at all except when u first start using it a lot and then once in awhile thereafter, u hit the mouse wheel by accident thus changing a weapon etc. Doesnt occur as much now, but can if I get into crazy action.

The reciver is 2.4ghz correct? Does that mess with wireless networks? My cordless phone farks with my wireless network and its 2.4ghz, anyone?
i use bluetooth. so the v500 won't work for me.
How hard and how much is it to add bluetooth reciver to my 9300?
Hard? One screw, and plugging it up to the end of a cable.
Much? Varies. Check out ebay. Cost me $12 + shipping.
