Yeah so whats the deal on the BMW casing on the Hypersonic 5660? metallic with 4 layers of whatever crap they use and 2 layers of paint sounds pretty sweet actually im hoping somethinglike this will be available upon my 8887 purchase. will colorware be working on something like this or perhaps even better? color isnt my biggest concern compared to durability of casing unless i get some cool color shifting or elegant colors liek the ones i saw at hypersonic please respond soon

Doesn't Hypersonic just paint the lid and palm rest? I don't think they tear it down for a full painting. We've looked at doing that also and could offer it much cheaper than the full tear down and quicker than 2+ weeks wait time they're currently giving us. It could come in about any color ever invented without voiding the Sager warranty.
think twice
i dunno...http://www.hypersonic-pc.com/2001/systems-mobile.htm
looks really convincing as a durable material dont you think? sadly it son the 56xx which i care little for i long for htis on the upcoming 8887 speaking of.. whats the ETA on them?

then again..
You might be right which in that case i was hoping if Colorware is in the business of providing sturdy case with the bonus of color? I think most will agree to paying a bit more for a sturdy design becuase i have a Toshiba 2105-S504, a Dell Inspiron 8100, Fujitsu C series, Fujitsu L Series, VPR Matrix 205A and of all those The toshiba is the sturdiest of all the designs. it uses some sort of thick plastic in fact ive dropped it a few times and not even a noticible scratch on its smooth shiney amazing surface. I cant share the same condition on the others excluding the matrix cause i protect that thing like a hawk. It probabaly explains its great condition but none the less i want sturdy casing for my new toy and I hope colorware can fill in this task cause i would be willing to pay a 200+ premium for this kind of job and the expense of the price and about no more than 1.5 pounds in weight
