Backlight

I have had my Sager 5670 for about half a year now and have loved it. Just recently however I have started having a major problem. The screen's backlight will not turn on when the laptop turns on. I can see the text on the screen, yet it is very hard to. This then will fix itself after a short amount of time (like an hour or so). This has occured twice so far and I really don't want it to happen again. My guess is that a connection is just loose, yet does this mean I have to mail it in or something? Does Sager allow local stores like CompUSA to fix this problem with the warrenty handling the cost?

I doubt the connection is "just loose" if the display comes on eventually. If could be a bad inverter board or a bad backlight in general. Recommend you RMA the laptop with whomever you bought it from.
