Lol, sounds a bit risky to do it for your ONLY os. I would not do it anyways, lol.

He just plainly stated that it is not his only OS.

Jesus christ...Vista takes up 4 gigs?

What ever happened to the days when Windows fit on floppy disks?

There's a 32-bit version...?

Which wireless card are you using? I was going to test it last week but heard there were problems getting wireless working.

I was just thinking the same thing. What the hell takes up 4 gigs? Are there a bunch of silly mpeg files for icon animation or what? Take a look in the OS folder and let us know what the bloat is!

What are you guys bitching about? A new XP install takes about 3 gigs on mine.
It is beta! It is loaded with debug information. Even if final will use 4 gigs, what's the problem. With modern HDD sizes I don't see any.
comes in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

there is minimal debug software embedded...the install will be atleast 4gigs upon release.

as for the sound driver, I think there is a cross-compatible one that we can use...once I find it and install it I will pm/post it. It runs great on my xps2 and compaq server.

I've never seen XP take that much before. 1.5 at the most. Infact, I just checked my brother's machine and the Windows directory is taking up 1.38 gigs. It's XPSP2 with all the updates.
