Help Me Choose An Asus Notebook

Thread Starter
I currently have the Asus M6BNe notebook and I planned to sell it in the next few weeks. My budget is $3000 for an Asus Notebook. This notebook will be used for medium to heavy gaming, and work. These are the needs that I want in the Asus notebook.
1. PM 760 or PM 770 cpu
2. X700 GPU to Nvidia 6800 GPU
3. 1 GB of Ram
4. 15.4" to 17" Very Good Quality WSXGA Monitor
5. Good laptop speakers(?) and Good Sound Quality
6. Excellent Build Quality
7. Bluetooth ready
8. Fans must be quiet or make little noise
9. Must have a DVD burner
10. Must have a 100 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive
11. Professional Looking

The Asus notebooks that meet or exceed my list are: W2v and Z70 refresh model. Here is the problem, the models that I mentioned are excellent, and I can't decide which one to get.

w2!!!! great specs, 17", really light for that size, looks great, slot-load drive (i think), tv tuner/remote!!! what more can you ask for?!?

Hard for me to recommend either one over the other, as they are both excellent laptops. It really depends on the size notebook you want to carry around. The w2, even though it is very light for a 17" notebook, will still be much bigger and heavier to carry around than a 15.4" notebook. I wouldn't carry a 17" notebook around, but that's just me. Z70V refresh gets you all the power of the w2 in a smaller size. Can't beat that imo.

Also, just a question, but why are you going from a 60GB 7200RPM drive to a 100GB 5400RPM drive? I figured the 7200RPM drive was superior and you'd just put that in whatever new laptop you bought. Are you just sacrificing speed for storage capacity? Or was there something wrong with the 7200RPM drive?
