Look, any time you discuss just one component the conversation is never ending. A tautology if you will for those of you going to college. Yes, a laptop with a 6800 has better graphics because it has a better graphics card (and presumably an equal screen). But ... this discussion of which is a better laptop has to be more than just specifications, particularly with the Ferrari which has intangibles such as the case materials, the paint, the quality of all components, the fit and finish, the unusual keyboard, the 64 bit chip (and what that alone is worth to you), etc. etc. Just read the forums discussing Intel v. AMD and incorporate that into this discussion to see how complex this question becomes. The truth is if money is an overriding issue, our young friend should probably go elsewhere. However, if money is not an overriding issue and you want something that is the best or near the best spec-wise plus quality plus something that will distinquish you from the pack, the Ferrari seems to be unquestionably a reasonable choice. You may argue that others are close to its equivalent, but I don't think you can argue against this statement.
