Just wondering after about 2-3 hours of HL2 my temps at 80c,,,,that about normal? Or is that way to hot?

I get 93c in BF2.

ok, cool, cept you are running a bit higher speeds, I just thought 80 was a bit high!

Nah it's fine, once you hit 95c the card will throttle down.

Monitor your temps in BF2, they will be higher.

cpu temp peaks @ 60C and gpu peaks around 70-80 depending on the game. 6800U @ 450/1100 & wxga lcd

I've been running 500/1100 in BF2, about 20minutes in its getting to hot and throwin a restart. Im going to go with a 480ish core to see if it helps...maybe even a notebook cooler of some sort.

wow lol.. didnt know XPS2 got this hot.. isnt it bad for the components ???

what program do you use to control the temp on your XPS? fan8ui? where can i download?

google it... but you want the I9KFanGUI mod, you install it over I8FanGUI...
