To a certain extent you are paying some extra for the name. However I can say that while i did pay $2000.00 for my Sentia package. The batallion series couldnt even be equiped the same as my alienware. (DVD Burner) and well there is the cool factor...

The Alienware Sentia and the Battalion 101 Slim Series are both Uniwill 233II0, except the IBuyPower version does not come with the "cool factor" of the Sentia.

I would gladly pay $500 more for the Alienware. Alienware's reputation as a top of the line computer brand and their renowned customer support has been firmly cemented, while IBP does not sell at the same quality or quanitity of AW.

It all boils down to personal preference.
